Trill asked if he knew Santa. He smiled. He didn’t know how to respond to that, so he just nodded, still having a nice smile on his face. She then asked if Santa was less magical than the Trickster and started mumbling about something else. He only chuckled at her. She was really adorable. “well, you are right, Santa is pretty magical, but between you and me…” The Trickster leaned in closer to her as if this was a secret, “I think even he has more tricks up his sleeve than he is willing to show, so he could be more magical than I am.” The Trickster backed away a little bit, hoping to see a smile on her face. “but who knows.” he said and he shrugged.
The Trickster smiled at her when she said he wasn’t scary. Sure, he wasn’t scary to her because he didn’t want to be. She was cute a really sweet child. She then said that he was nice and that he liked candy and that he was magical. That made him smile more. Maybe there was hope for the human race, though kids always saw the good in everything. “why would I be scary around you? That wouldn’t be very nice now would it? I would just be scary to the ones being mean to you right?” The Trickster asked with a reassuring smile that he wouldn’t be mean or scary to her.
Trill started talking more and he learned her mother was dead. That was sad, but it happens and she was right. She was in heaven with the other angels and looking over her, so he wondered if that was true. He really didn’t remember what heaven was like for the people that lived there, just that it was a bunch of heavens in one. It had been so long since he had been home he has really forgotten a lot. “I am sure you’re mommy is watching you right now and that she loves you, and I am sure she loves the flowers you leave for her.” The Trickster smiled once more.
Trillium. That was an odd name. not as odd as Apple though. When she mentioned it was a flower he thought that was a very suiting name for her. Trillium. He liked it. He smiled at her and nodded when she said he could call her Trill. “I love it. Trill. A special name for a special kid.” he smiled to her. He didn’t remember the last time that he had smiled so much. It was a very different feeling for him. “it is a very loud language and he should talk normal. I agree with you Pirate Trill.” The Trickster said, then wondering if that was really what she was. He just noticed that she was holding a foam sword. “or are you not a pirate?” he asked not wanting her to freak out on him.
The Trickster looked at the other angel and smirked. He watched Trill smile at him and he looked back to the angel when it started saying that Gabriel had a different vibe. He merely shrugged. The Trickster flinched a little when the angel had pulled out his blade. There were flashbacks to when Lucifer killed him. Gabriel looked at his blade and he rolled his eyes. “uh, seriously? There’s a child present.” The Trickster said pointing to Trill. he said that Trill wasn’t so innocent, the Trickster shook his head. Children were just that.
“you really don’t understand do you. Children are just that, innocent. I would know. I punish bad people.” The Trickster said, trying to make it sound like he just punishes them how a parent would to a child for Trill’s sake. The Angel then started talking about its siblings and how they were going to tear the earth apart. Gabriel rolled his eyes with a small whistle. “what of Winchesters? They stopped the apocalypse once, they can do it again.” Gabriel responded, raising his right index finger.
The Trickster was about to take Trill and walk away. He didn’t want to talk to his arrogant sibling anymore. The scream that Trill gave made him turn. Everything was happening in slow motion through his eyes, though he knew that it was probably all happening so fast. The angel was now in front of him. All that ran through his head was keeping Trill safe. Man did he turn into a softy. Gabriel pulled out his own blade and blocked his from entering his heart . Gabriel had grabbed the angel’s vessel’s wrist and held it tightly so it couldn’t move its blade to attack.
“daddy brought me back, I wonder if he would do the same for you… I really hope not.” Gabriel smiled a wicked smile. He looked over at Trill and smiled. “wanna see something cool?” he asked her with a devilish smile. He looked back over at his sibling and he extended his own wings and made them visible to Trill and the other angel.
“you wont be leaving here alive now, I hope you know.” Gabriel whispered to his sibling so that Trill wouldn’t be able to hear him.
