Time For A New Begining
---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Mornings seemed to be more peaceful. Never since he had been in Aslan’s country things had been more peace, he had a new outlook of things, not that he hadn’t had that when he was alive. The remembered the young girl in the village who had changed his heart. Looking back on his life he can’t believe that he had acted that way towards people. He couldn’t see himself ever being that man again. He only knew his life now, the man he was now. Everything that had happened in his past was the past, he had learned to respect that. The only thing he couldn’t get over was what his brother had done. He had never seen it coming. All the years that he had been with Gavin he didn’t see his brother being the type to be jealous type. Bhaltair must have not seen it, he couldn’t have seen it, everytime he would have a good laugh and have ale with Gavin he seemed fine, like anything was wrong. But he could not read his younger brothers mind. Maybe he had dark thoughts about Bhaltair always being the star child. He had to admit he had been like that in the beginning when he had first become a knight. He basted in the light of the titles and money, but he had changed and hadn’t Gavin seen that.
It was no matter now, it was the past. Who knew what had become of his brother or the young girl. These would be questions he would never get answers too. In the time he had been here, he hadn’t met his father or mother, but then again he hadn’t been back to Archenland, finding Narnia much more peaceful, and he wanted to be here more then in homeland. As he had only been in Narnia a few times when he was alive, mostly for meetings, parties and tournaments. But he had never spent any really down to earth time. Now he could, he didn’t have anything to worry about he would return to Archenland some day for now he was in Narnia and enjoying it. He wanted to learn more about its history, and met the people he had heard stories about. He wanted to enjoy things that he hadn’t when he wa alive. Because he was so busy with things in Archenland that he hadn’t had time to enjoy life and the many things around it, and pretty much he never had anytime to himself.
When he had entered Aslan’s country he had found himself in a river. He didn’t know where he was. He had been shocked to see the Great Lion. He had only heard stories and then he was gone like that. Somehow his horse was there waiting for him, it was like Aslan had brought the two back together. As Argos was his trusty horse and good friend, they had been through so many battles before. Now he was walking through a forest, its tree huge and tall as the eye could see. He was walking, his hands on Argos reins and walked the horse behind him. He had never seen any forest this big before, there was nothing like this in Archenland that’s for sure. He smiled as he walked looking around at everything around him, he wasn’t going to miss a thing, he wanted to enjoy everything, he didn’t know what was going to happen now but he knew that he was going to everything he could.

What can you see On the horizon? Why do the white gulls call? Across the sea Lucy had decided to go on her own adventure, reuniting with her old friend in the stables at Cair Paravel she felt she needed to get away from there for abit. The young queen had wanted to see alot more of Aslan's Country though she felt like she always lived here when walking through familiar lands. Lucy had traveled quite abit from her home in Cair Paravel, entering the woods. Even though this was Aslan's Country she knew this wood like the back of her hand. Gently squeezing her legs against her horse she was happy that the mare knew what she wanted to do and galloped through the forest with ease. When she had her brothers, along with their cousin and his friend had entered Aslan's country. They had been in a field it was there that Aslan greeted them and told them about what had happened in their world. Reepicheep was at Cair Paravel to greet them when they arrived, Lucy had also heard about the Beavers and Mr.Tumnus being there as well. Would she trade anything to leave her, no never. This was her home and she would live for ages in this country of Aslan's.
Not having to worry about growing old or aging, okay so maybe that was stretching it abit. Aslan did say though they would live forever here. Since they had died in that train wreck. Leaning forward in her saddle she patted the horse's neck lightly, she had decided to wear a light riding dress. Nothing too fancy since she was just taking a ride. The horse soon stopped and glanced back as far as she could to look at the young queen. "My queen, up ahead there is a person". Lucy looked up and indeed saw someone walking through the forest, she could only see their back but it was surely someone. What were they doing in the Shuddering Woods. "Let's go see, shall we". There was no need to fear anything in the woods, the horse snorted and continued on stopping a mere few inches from the young man. Lucy dismounted making sure to fix her dress the best she could, then spoke. "Excuse me, but are you new to this part of the woods?".
She didn't recognize him from any previous parties they ever had at Cair Paravel, in both the fake Narnia and the real one. Lucy would remember any faces she had ever layed eyes on, and this young man didn't seem to fit the bill. Of course being in a grand room filled with so many people you tend to forget who you speak to and even who you've danced with. Glancing back to her horse, whose name was Milly the young queen also noticed the other horse. Oh so he had one as well, from the way he was glancing around the woods she could only assume this was his first time in this place. "Where do you come from, are you lost or is this your first time in Aslan's Country?" Taking ahold of Milly's reigns, Lucy followed beside the young man. Curious to know more about him, if this was his first time here that meant he had seen Aslan.

Time For A New Begining
---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Bhaltair never imagined that Aslan’s Country would look like it did. Everything seemed to be bright and peaceful; you could walk the forest freely and not have to worry about being attacked and such. Well at lest that’s what the knight hoped. Sure he had been to Narnia before a few in fact but everytime seemed different now that he was in Aslan’s Country and there was no going back to the real world. Bhaltair wasn’t sure if he liked living in the real world anymore after seeing this place. He could see himself enjoying his time here, not having to worry about battles and the many other things he had done when he was alive. Though he would miss his friends, and the girl who had changed his heart, now he would never get to know her more and many something could have come from it. He would have liked to know what had happened to her as well as his brother. He still couldn’t get over what Gavin had done to him. He was a lot happier now, not that he hadn’t been happy when he was alive. He had been happy to finally meet the Great Lion he had heard so many stories about. It had been a shock he had to say but he gladly listened to what the Lion had to say and went on his way.
He looked forward to seeing Cair Paravel again some day and then he would be heading back to Archenland, his homeland. He didn’t know what to think about it, was it going to be the same way he remembered it to be or would it be different. Would the manor still be there, back to it’s once glory or would it be in the state it was when Gavin set it on fire, burning him and his father in it. Though there was only a scar let on his chest from the wound in which Gavin had stabbed him, everytime he thought about it, flash backs on that day would come to his mind. Aslan had said that wounds heal but the scars they leave behind pay memory to what caused them. He understood this, Aslan had healed him or the scar and his burned body, but he left a scar there on his chest, as well as a few burn marks on his back as a remember of what had happened in his life before coming here, a remember that he needed find his brother and settle what had happened. He shook away his thoughts when he thought he heard something up ahead, maybe a horse. Argos, his own horse grunted and let out a snort. “Easy boy”, Bhaltair whispers and patted the horse’s neck. He looked up and a few inches from him was a horse. He raised an eyebrow and looked to see who the rider was.
When he saw who it was, the first thing he did was bow, as anyone would when the person in front of you was a Queen of Narnia. “Your highness” he said with another bow of his head. “I am sorry, I was just passing through”. He had traveled awhile after coming into Aslan’s country. Of course she would not remember his face. He knew that there were many people and the royals show many of them, Bhaltair had met them along time ago when he came with the king. But he was just a face in the crowd he hadn’t formally met the young queen. And really right now he didn’t really seem like the noble type, he was just wearing a simple red tunic with black trousers and black riding boots. He wasn’t dressed in his amour or nothing to say who he was. “I come from Archenland your highness”. He had been to the Narnia he knew not the Narnia in Aslan’s country and everything looked so different. “My first time here in Aslan’s Country, I arrived here a few weeks ago, and thought I would travel to the place I enjoyed the most”, he reported to her.

What can you see On the horizon? Why do the white gulls call? Across the sea It was nice to ride into the woods, not having to worry about being attacked or jumped by anything. Of course you had to take a long detour around the giant lake but hey who didn't enjoy the scenery, and the peaceful aura you got from Aslan's Country. As she made her way through the Shuddering Woods she could feel the peace that it held. She soon felt her horse stop, telling her about someone just ahead of them. Lucy knew there was no need to fear anyone that might be walking in these woods so she dismounted off Milly and looked through the trees. Indeed she did someone walking just ahead of them, and they also seemed to have a horse. Wanting to get a closer look she took hold of the reigns on her horse and walked with her through the woods, over the soft ground which layed beneath their feet. As she came closer Lucy noticed that the other person's horse snorted, and grunted and Milly did the same showing they were not threat to his master or him.
What surprised the young queen even more was when he bowed, and addressed her as highness. "You know who I am then?". Alot of people from the fake Narnia would know who the high kings and queens were, after all they did leave stories behind of everything they did and of the rule in the golden ages. Even she as one of the high queens couldn't really remember it all, the years in that time of Narnia seemed to fly pass like they were nothing. She had grown up and all that time she never married anyone, but she had been a grown up. How come none of her siblings and she herself never married, was it because Aslan knew or they knew that the lamp post at lantern waste would lead them back to the wardrobe. She could only guess that none of them wanted to leave behind heirs, but now since they were here they could do that. Lucy smiled at the young man and gave a curtsy back, hearing he was just passing through. "I was just out taking a ride, thought i'd get away from Cair Paravel for abit".
This was the first time she had ever seen thing young man, could he had been at any of the gatherings or parties they might have thrown. It was hard to say since Lucy never or rarely payed attention if all to the faces around. Even when in the battles that were fought she even then barely payed attention, but that didn't mean she never made any friends either. Lucy always made plenty of those. Hearing where he came from she nodded lightly. "Archenland i've never been there, but I have heard of it. And please call me Lucy". She knew it was custom for people to call her highness, but she just preferred to be called by her name. A few weeks ago, so did that mean he had been wandering these woods for that long. "Do you mind if we come along, it would be nice to ride with some company". Milly already gave her snort of approval, she was up for anything.
