Dinah didn't plan on being negotiable for the most part. Her mother was a fool who didn't know how to care for a child yet alone a teenager. Therefore instead of putting her foot down, she's hired someone to follow Dinah around. Which quite upset the girl. It wasn't the poor mans fault, though. How could she blame him for just taking a simple job hm? It seemed like one she was sure. Follow this young, tiny girl around you won't have any difficulty keeping up with her. Frowning to herself she tucked her hands into her open long jacket's pockets, not bothering to glance around to see if her companion was still with her. She honestly didn't care one way or another. She really didn't see the need to be baby sat, so why he had to follow her everywhere was beyond her. Oh well, once more she reminded herself it was not his fault and she should at least attempt to be pleasant company.
Dinah watched as others rode about on a horse, longing for one of her own here in Narnia. Papa traveled her more than enough to buy her one. She'd have to pester about that at a later date. It wouldn't work..but it was always worth a shot. Oh well, better continue on. Grabbing at her coat and skirts, Dinah hiked them up just enough to keep them from hitting a puddle or two before dropping them down again frustratedly. There was nothing worth doing when someone had to follow you around all day. Dinah wanted to wander about through the woods again. Talk to herself on matters, try to work out some twirks within her thoughts. Perhaps even run down and try to find Ireth. Who was most likely off with Peter. Bitter loneliness that wasn't quite...loneliness. It couldn't be when someone else was present with you.
Looking over her shoulder, she gave a half hearted smile to the fawn before looking ahead of her again. Finally, Dinah's feet came to a hault and her hands landed on her hips defiantly as she gazed out in Aslan's How. Sighing heavily to herself she turned around on her heels to face the fawn once again. Approaching him lightly she stopped quite a bit away before saying, "Is it not dull to follow a child about all day?" Waving her hand through the area she looked around for a moment or two . "Such as if you were to grow tired of...and happened to dispurse. I would see to it my father heard you stayed my companion the entire day and all the promises to you kept." Oh yes, Dinah wanted privacy.

Chase couldn’t help but scowl as he shadowed the girl whom he had been ordered to escort for the duration of her roaming. He couldn’t help but feel slighted, when he had arrived at Cair Parvel this was definitely not what he had in mind in the ways of honorable employment. He was by no means complaining, he would never complain about any task given to him by his royal lieges.
But he couldn’t help but feel that the assignment was beneath him. He was a veteran of one of the bloodiest wars unheard of in Narnia history and here he was shadowing a child. A Calormen child for that manner. Chase couldn’t help but sneer a little at the name of the people that had tried to conquer his homeland for a thousand years. The Faun sighed and quickly pushed away the racist and foolish thought, who was he to judge someone by their nationality? Not even the Great Lion himself took that liberty.
Chase stiffened and stopped walking when turned and addressed him. Chase arched an eyebrow as she spoke, yes it was dull following a child all day. He could be putting his time to a thousand better uses but far be it from him to tell her that so bluntly. However he also could not lie, it was beneath him.
“It is not something I would do in my free time milady,” Chase said with a slight bow. “But I serve my lords and ladies and it is their will and thus escort you I shall.” Her next statement caused Chase to gape at her in openmouthed astonishment. Despite the sunny day he shivered, the very thought of what she suggested crawling his blood. As distasteful as his duty may be death would claim him a thousand times and a thousand times over before he shirked it.
”Vanish the thought from your head lass.” Chase rumbled angrily. ”I was ordered to escort you and escort you I shall by the Lion! I will never shirk from duty as long as I draw breath.” The Faun crossed his arms angrily over his muscular chest and glared at the girl who had dared suggest he do such a heinous act.
