Most of all, he missed Queen Lucy. He had always been close to the youngest Pevensie child, and after they left, Trumpkin was left alone with Trufflehunter. Now he was walking through the, seemingly, endless hall to the stone table. He sometimes would let his hand run along the wall and remember the final moments before the battle with the Telmarines. He remembered the final moments where he had to get Lucy and Susan to their horse. As Trumpkin came into the destined room, he sighed as he thought about everything that happened in this room. The one thing that came to mind the second he walked in was when he found Caspian and Nikabrik standing infront of the White Queen. It was a horrible sight to see. Trumpkin shook off the memory not wanting to remember it any further. Instead he sat on the steps of the archway and looked around the room. So many things happened those few days, none of which he would have ever changed. When he last heard from Narnian's, the Pevensie's were back. He had hoped that the rumors were true, but he didn't know what to feel. His heart told him to be happy that he might get to see Lucy, but his head made it difficult to be happy. Trumpkin just sat on the step and thought about what would happen if Lucy were to see the dwarf again. Would she be repulsed, confused, maybe she wouldn't remember him. It had been a few years of course since he had seen her, but he feared that Lucy would forget him in the time she had been gone.He just didn’t want to see the Pevensie’s and none of them remember him. Trumpkin leaned forward and hid his face in his hands. He knew he shouldn’t worry, but he always did. It was the worst trait he had and he hated it. Lucy had grow in his heart from the first time they met and he didn’t want to jinx it because of the worry he had. He took a deep breath, and tried to clear his mind of the worst things possible, but only as he did that he heard something like footsteps coming down the hall. Trumpkin looked up and insticntivly reached for his dagger. He stood up and braced himself just incase if he had to protect himself. - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - TAGGED: Queen Lucy WORDS: 414 LYRICS: B.O.B. & Hayley Williams CREDITS: Thanks to BUNNYA! of A THOUSAND FIREFLIES

I’d catch a grenade for ya Throw my hand on a blade for ya I’d jump in front of a train for ya You know I'd do anything for ya Riding on the back of her horse Milly, the beautiful chesnut mare. Lucy made her way across a familiar stream the same one where they made a stand against Miraz's men. Of course that was in the shadowed narnia, it felt so strange to her still how everything in Aslan's country felt the same as when they were in the fake Narnia. Patting Milly on the neck lightly she smiled and urged her horse forward across the cool crisp water, Milly snorted enjoying how it felt against her legs. The stream was not too high so that was at least a good thing, once the horse got to the other side she headed off through the woods. Lucy was heading to Aslan's How it was a place where the stone table is split in half....oh that is if in his country it exists. There was only one way to know and that was to ride to the How and see it for herself. And she was also certain that the How was in good condition, Aslan would keep it in tact.
Coming out of the woods the young queen came out into a grassy long field, and there in the distance was the How. Standing tall and proud like it's been untouched. She could see a few narnians as well far off, they were probably given orders by Aslan to take care of the How and live there to manage things. This was all deja-vu to her, but she pressed on to see if there was anyone she knew that might be inside the How. Nudging Milly a little the horse responded and took off in a gallop across the grassy field, the wind felt good through the young queen's hair as she approached the How's entrance. Some of the narnian's who were there glanced up as Milly came to a small trot and her hooves echoed on the stone path that led down into the entrance. They bowed their heads in respect happy to see one of the high queen's once more, Lucy smiled to them and headed inside. Once she was deep enough inside the How she dismounted and let Milly go and get some fresh water and food to eat nearby.
How wonderful it felt to be here again, her dress swished as she walked around and headed off into one of the halls. Lucy came into one of the rooms seeing a familiar face, stopping with a smile. "Trumpkin is that you? It's been so long since i've seen you". It had been so long since she saw her little friend, last she had heard was that Caspian had made him a Regent or something along those lines when the King took off on voyages. And Lucy had been still young when she left that time, but not anymore. She was taller and of course older now and wondered what Trumpkin thought of her. She hadn't seen her little friend at the party that Peter threw when they came here, well a week after they had arrived. Unless he had been hiding among the crowd of people and she missed him somehow, oh well at least now they could catch up with eachother.

He moved his hand away from his dagger and smiled as he stood up again and made his way over to her. “Hello Queen Lucy. It has and I’m glad that you are back in Narnia.” Trumpkin wanted to tell her that she had grown so much since he last saw her, but she already knew that. He didn’t know what to say, and it had started to seem like he didn’t know her, and he didn’t want Lucy to think that at all. “I’m sorry that I didn’t come the the party. I was busy and couldn’t make it.” Trumpkin knew he wasn’t busy, in fact he never knew there had been a party until the day afterwards. He would have come to see all the Pevensie’s come back, but no one told him. He could only imagine the party. The Kings and Queens standing infront of their throwns, waving to each of their subjects. Caspian at their sides smiling. Then they go into the crowd and greet the Narnian’s they used to know. He sighed and turned around to go back to the archway. “So how have you been since you’ve been gone?” He stood with his back to Lucy and held his elbow for her to take. After all he is a proper gentleman. When she took his arm, he walked her over to the arch way, and sat down. It was nice that the two could get caught up. He had always missed the little chats they would have. He patted the spot next to him as a gesture for her to sit next to him. He had not done anything, but worry about all the progress the Narnian’s have made and what would happen if it the progress falls down. - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - TAGGED: Queen Lucy WORDS: 336 LYRICS: B.O.B. & Hayley Williams CREDITS: Thanks to BUNNYA! of A THOUSAND FIREFLIES

I’d catch a grenade for ya Throw my hand on a blade for ya I’d jump in front of a train for ya You know I'd do anything for ya Lucy was so happy to be reunited with her little friend, Trumpkin had helped her so much when they were in the old Narnia. And she in return had helped him out as well, what with healing him after they came back from attacking the castle that Miraz took over. Who would have thought they would re-meet here of all places. Guess it was just luck that brought her out here but also she had been wanting to visit all the places she could in Aslan's wonderful country. It really was something and it had been everything she dreamed it would look like. She shook her head when he addressed her as Queen Lucy, she always kept telling people to call her Lucy. "You know you can call me Lucy my friend, and it's nice to be in the real Narnia". She wondered how long Trumpkin had been in Aslan's country, this was a place for noble hearts and Trumpkin had a huge noble and courageous heart inside him. He had not believed in Aslan before, but when the giant lion greeted the dwarf he was a believer then and there. "Oh I was also curious, did Caspian make you Regent here as well?" Lucy was certain that Caspian would give that title back to Trumpkin.
When he mentioned that he was sorry, and couldn't make it to the party she just smiled. Not everyone could have made it to their welcome back party, even then she had been so nervous because she was still shaken from the news about the train wreck. But since then she has been rather calm and has come to accept things as they are now. "Don't worry about it, there will be more parties i'm sure". There was sure to be plenty of parties to come and perhaps he could come to those, missing one wasn't a big deal. Besides she did get to see alot of familiar friends such as Mr. Tumnus, Mr and Mrs Beaver even the cute little fox they had first met. So among the many faces in the crowd she wasn't totally alone. Caspian had also been there with them although she didn't speak to him much, all she did was give him a quick hug before going off to mingle with all the other people who had come.
Hearing his next question she seemed kind of baffled, did he think he was still in the old narnia. "Boring, but I knew we would meet again. I saw you in the final battle, or did you forget?" Had Aslan told him nothing, or was he just like her and her siblings. Did he wake up and still think this was the old Narnia. "You do know we are in Aslan's Country, don't you?" When he offered her his elbow she politely took it and walked with him over to the archway, it was great to be able to catch up on things. Seeing him sit down and pat the spot next to him she took a seat. "It's so peaceful here...." TAG: Trumpkin WORDS: 511 LYRICS: Grenade - Bruno Mars
