Ian carefully mounted his white horse. He slipped both feet into the stirrups and gathered the reins. He gently clucked his tongue and his white stallion named Artex began walking slowly. The leather of the saddle creaked gently and he inhaled the air around him. He was dressed in black slacks, a white shirt and a black leather vest over that. On his back was a quiver, which held his bow and arrow. A thin but strong leather strap led acoss his chest diagonally. The sky above was a lovely baby blue color.
Fluffy white clouds drifted lazily across. It was a really lovely day out he had to marvel at it. He was traveling for a bit, still on the trail of the thieves that hunted his family. He rode for a bit before stopping and resting. He unsaddled Artex and let him graze for a bit while he cooked over a fire.
It was a long journey that he knew still had no end to. He sighed at the thought. Emma was safe, staying with his grandparents who were in hiding still, in fear of what could happen to them if they were out in the open. He stirred the pot and just watched the lovely scenery stretch out before him.

Well now. Severn was hungry. But, she didn't actually have any food. Problem? Well, maybe..
This was, obviously, planning at its absolutely finest. She was alone and unprepared and it was probably going to be nightfall soon. Currently, she was trotting along as a large gray wolf. Soft paws made almost no noise as she moved, and her ears swiveled around for any sign of something that she might be able to hunt down.
Then, up in front of her, she spotted a lone rider on a white horse. Now, she didn't think that she could eat them, of course, but they did get her interest. So. she followed them for a little bit, keeping well back and moving along without being very obvious.
Soon enough, the rider got down and started to set up camp. Severn watched him for a couple moments until the sweet aroma of something cooking caught her attention. Well, that may possibly be an answer to her problem.
Getting up, she cautiously walked over, sitting just at the edge of the firelight. Cocking her head to the side slightly, she perked her ears forward and just calmly looked at the man across from her.
